Government Services
Over the last 40+ years Goodwin & Associates, has provided unsurpassed cultural resource management and historic preservation services for various types of state agencies across the country. These include, but are not limited to, state parks, coastal zone management, public works departments, planning officials, conservation agencies, wildlife management districts, and departments of water and sewerage. We have provided these agencies with a wide range of services related to Section 106 consultation and other cultural resource-related regulations, including permitting through federal agencies such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Goodwin & Associates also has been an industry leader when it comes to completing work on behalf of a broad swath of federal government agencies, including the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS), National Park Service (NPS), General Services Administration (GSA), Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). We have completed hundreds of projects for these agencies, and we have been contracted by some of them on an ongoing basis for over 35 years. Projects advanced by these agencies are large and complicated, designed for the public good, and involve some of America’s most iconic locations, including Antietam, New Orleans, Kisatchie and Ouchita National Forests, and White Sands National Park, among many others.
